Alade is so much loved by the king of okeku who constantly showers him with money and attention. He assumes that because of this unmerited attention he is the next king of the town. However the king dies and Alade discovers that he is also struggling between life and death.He finds out on the sick bed that he was never loved but used because the life of the king is hanging on his good health. However the chain of death in his life was broken when Alade came in contact with a man called Jesus.
